Kayaking Steinhatchee River is one of our top-recommended activities when visiting the area. Coastal River RV Resort is located just off the river, making us a perfect jumping-off point for river adventures like kayaking and paddle-boarding. 

There’s a long paddling trail that runs between Steinhatchee Falls [link] and Steinhatchee town, meaning you can head out on the water for a full day. The water is mostly calm, and perfect for beginners, so this is a great family activity while staying with us! You might even see some local wildlife while paddling.
